This guide covers all aspects of account creation, login, and authentication in Leemu OKR.Creating an Account

There are two ways to create an account in Leemu OKR:

Method 1: Self-Registration (New Organizations)

If you're setting up a new organization:

  1. Navigate to the registration page
  2. Click on "Sign Up" or "Create Account"
  3. Fill in the registration form:
    • Full Name: Your first and last name
    • Email Address: Your work email
    • Password: Choose a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
    • Company Name: Your organization's name
    • Company Slug: A unique identifier for your workspace (lowercase, no spaces)
  4. Review and accept the terms of service
  5. Click "Create Account"
  6. Verify your email address (if email verification is enabled)
  7. Complete your profile setup

Note: The first user to register becomes the Company Admin automatically.

Method 2: Accepting an Invitation

If you've been invited to join an existing organization:

  1. Check your email for an invitation from Leemu OKR
  2. Click the "Accept Invitation" link in the email
  3. You'll be directed to the invitation acceptance page
  4. If you don't have an account:
    • Fill in your name and password
    • Click "Accept & Create Account"
  5. If you already have an account:
    • Log in with your existing credentials
    • Your account will be linked to the new organization

Important: Invitation links expire after a certain period. If your link has expired, contact your workspace administrator for a new invitation.

Logging InStandard Login
  1. Navigate to the login page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Enter your password
  4. Click "Sign In"
Login with Google (OAuth)

If Google authentication is enabled:

  1. Navigate to the login page
  2. Click "Continue with Google"
  3. Select your Google account
  4. Grant necessary permissions
  5. You'll be automatically logged in

First-time Google login: If this is your first time using Google login, you may need to complete your profile.

Staying Logged In
  • Check "Remember me" to stay logged in on trusted devices
  • Sessions typically last for 30 days with activity
  • For security, you may be asked to re-authenticate for sensitive operations
Password ManagementPassword Requirements

Strong passwords must include:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • Mix of uppercase and lowercase letters (recommended)
  • At least one number (recommended)
  • Special characters for extra security (recommended)
Changing Your Password
  1. Log in to your account
  2. Navigate to Settings > Profile
  3. Scroll to the "Security" section
  4. Click "Change Password"
  5. Enter your current password
  6. Enter your new password
  7. Confirm your new password
  8. Click "Update Password"
Forgot Password / Password Reset

If you've forgotten your password:

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click "Forgot Password?"
  3. Enter your registered email address
  4. Click "Send Reset Link"
  5. Check your email for a password reset link
  6. Click the link (valid for 1 hour)
  7. Enter your new password
  8. Confirm your new password
  9. Click "Reset Password"
  10. You'll be redirected to the login page

Troubleshooting:

  • If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder
  • Ensure you're using the correct email address
  • Reset links expire after 1 hour for security
  • If the link expires, request a new one
Managing InvitationsSending Invitations (Company Admins Only)

To invite new users to your workspace:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Workspace
  2. Click on the "Users" or "Team Members" tab
  3. Click "Invite User" or "Send Invitation"
  4. Fill in the invitation form:
    • Email Address: The user's work email
    • Name: The user's full name
    • Role: Select Member, Team Admin, or Company Admin
    • Team (optional): Assign to a specific team
  5. Click "Send Invitation"
  6. The user will receive an email with an invitation link

Best Practices:

  • Use work email addresses only
  • Assign appropriate roles based on responsibilities
  • Add a personal message to explain why they're being invited
  • Follow up if invitations aren't accepted within a few days
Viewing Pending Invitations

To see all pending invitations:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Workspace
  2. Click on the "Invitations" tab
  3. View the list of pending, accepted, and expired invitations

From here you can:

  • Resend invitations
  • Cancel pending invitations
  • View invitation status
Resending Invitations

If a user didn't receive or lost their invitation:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Workspace > Invitations
  2. Find the invitation in the list
  3. Click "Resend" next to the invitation
  4. A new invitation email will be sent
Canceling Invitations

To cancel a pending invitation:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Workspace > Invitations
  2. Find the invitation in the list
  3. Click "Cancel" or the delete icon
  4. Confirm the cancellation
Account SecurityBest Practices
  1. Use Strong Passwords: Combine letters, numbers, and symbols
  2. Don't Share Credentials: Each user should have their own account
  3. Update Passwords Regularly: Change passwords every 90 days
  4. Use Different Passwords: Don't reuse passwords from other services
  5. Log Out on Shared Devices: Always log out when using public computers
  6. Enable Email Verification: Keep your email address up to date
Session Management
  • You're automatically logged out after 30 days of inactivity
  • Active sessions refresh automatically
  • You can have multiple active sessions on different devices
  • Log out from all devices by changing your password
Account Deactivation

If you need to temporarily deactivate an account:

For Company Admins:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Workspace > Users
  2. Find the user in the list
  3. Click "Deactivate" or toggle the "Active" status
  4. Confirm the action

What happens when deactivated:

  • User cannot log in
  • User's OKRs remain visible
  • Historical data is preserved
  • User can be reactivated at any time

For self-deactivation: Contact your Company Admin to request account deactivation.

Multi-Tenant Access

If you belong to multiple organizations:

  1. Each organization is a separate workspace
  2. You'll need separate logins for each workspace
  3. Each workspace has its own URL (based on company slug)
  4. Your data is isolated between workspaces
Email Verification

Some organizations require email verification:

Verifying Your Email
  1. After registration, check your email
  2. Click the "Verify Email" link
  3. Your email will be confirmed
  4. You can now access all features
Resending Verification Email

If you didn't receive the verification email:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. You'll see a banner about email verification
  3. Click "Resend Verification Email"
  4. Check your inbox (and spam folder)
Common Authentication IssuesCannot Log In

Problem: "Invalid email or password" error

Solutions:

  1. Double-check your email address for typos
  2. Ensure Caps Lock is off when entering password
  3. Try the "Forgot Password" flow
  4. Clear browser cache and cookies
  5. Try a different browser
  6. Check if your account has been deactivated
Invitation Link Not Working

Problem: "Invalid or expired invitation" error

Solutions:

  1. Check if the link has expired (invitations expire after 7 days)
  2. Ensure you're clicking the full link (not truncated)
  3. Try copying and pasting the link directly
  4. Contact the person who sent the invitation for a new link
  5. Check if you've already accepted the invitation
Password Reset Email Not Received

Problem: No reset email in inbox

Solutions:

  1. Check spam/junk folder
  2. Wait a few minutes (can take up to 10 minutes)
  3. Verify you entered the correct email address
  4. Check if your email provider is blocking automated emails
  5. Try requesting another reset link
  6. Contact support if issue persists
Google Login Not Working

Problem: Cannot authenticate with Google

Solutions:

  1. Ensure pop-ups are enabled in your browser
  2. Clear browser cache and cookies
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Check if third-party cookies are enabled
  5. Ensure you're using a Google Workspace account (if required)
  6. Contact your admin to verify Google OAuth is configured
Account Settings

After logging in, you can manage your account settings:

Profile Information

Update in Settings > Profile:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Profile picture/avatar
  • Timezone preferences
Notification Preferences

Configure in Settings > Profile > Notifications:

  • Email notification frequency
  • Types of notifications to receive
  • Notification channels
Privacy Settings

Manage in Settings > Profile:

  • Profile visibility
  • Activity visibility
  • Data export options
