There are two ways to create an account in Leemu OKR:
Method 1: Self-Registration (New Organizations)If you're setting up a new organization:
- Navigate to the registration page
- Click on "Sign Up" or "Create Account"
- Fill in the registration form:
- Full Name: Your first and last name
- Email Address: Your work email
- Password: Choose a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
- Company Name: Your organization's name
- Company Slug: A unique identifier for your workspace (lowercase, no spaces)
- Review and accept the terms of service
- Click "Create Account"
- Verify your email address (if email verification is enabled)
- Complete your profile setup
Note: The first user to register becomes the Company Admin automatically.
Method 2: Accepting an InvitationIf you've been invited to join an existing organization:
- Check your email for an invitation from Leemu OKR
- Click the "Accept Invitation" link in the email
- You'll be directed to the invitation acceptance page
- If you don't have an account:
- Fill in your name and password
- Click "Accept & Create Account"
- If you already have an account:
- Log in with your existing credentials
- Your account will be linked to the new organization
Important: Invitation links expire after a certain period. If your link has expired, contact your workspace administrator for a new invitation.
Logging InStandard Login- Navigate to the login page
- Enter your email address
- Enter your password
- Click "Sign In"
If Google authentication is enabled:
- Navigate to the login page
- Click "Continue with Google"
- Select your Google account
- Grant necessary permissions
- You'll be automatically logged in
First-time Google login: If this is your first time using Google login, you may need to complete your profile.
Staying Logged In- Check "Remember me" to stay logged in on trusted devices
- Sessions typically last for 30 days with activity
- For security, you may be asked to re-authenticate for sensitive operations
Strong passwords must include:
- Minimum 8 characters
- Mix of uppercase and lowercase letters (recommended)
- At least one number (recommended)
- Special characters for extra security (recommended)
- Log in to your account
- Navigate to Settings > Profile
- Scroll to the "Security" section
- Click "Change Password"
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm your new password
- Click "Update Password"
If you've forgotten your password:
- Go to the login page
- Click "Forgot Password?"
- Enter your registered email address
- Click "Send Reset Link"
- Check your email for a password reset link
- Click the link (valid for 1 hour)
- Enter your new password
- Confirm your new password
- Click "Reset Password"
- You'll be redirected to the login page
Troubleshooting:
- If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder
- Ensure you're using the correct email address
- Reset links expire after 1 hour for security
- If the link expires, request a new one
To invite new users to your workspace:
- Navigate to Settings > Workspace
- Click on the "Users" or "Team Members" tab
- Click "Invite User" or "Send Invitation"
- Fill in the invitation form:
- Email Address: The user's work email
- Name: The user's full name
- Role: Select Member, Team Admin, or Company Admin
- Team (optional): Assign to a specific team
- Click "Send Invitation"
- The user will receive an email with an invitation link
Best Practices:
- Use work email addresses only
- Assign appropriate roles based on responsibilities
- Add a personal message to explain why they're being invited
- Follow up if invitations aren't accepted within a few days
To see all pending invitations:
- Navigate to Settings > Workspace
- Click on the "Invitations" tab
- View the list of pending, accepted, and expired invitations
From here you can:
- Resend invitations
- Cancel pending invitations
- View invitation status
If a user didn't receive or lost their invitation:
- Navigate to Settings > Workspace > Invitations
- Find the invitation in the list
- Click "Resend" next to the invitation
- A new invitation email will be sent
To cancel a pending invitation:
- Navigate to Settings > Workspace > Invitations
- Find the invitation in the list
- Click "Cancel" or the delete icon
- Confirm the cancellation
- Use Strong Passwords: Combine letters, numbers, and symbols
- Don't Share Credentials: Each user should have their own account
- Update Passwords Regularly: Change passwords every 90 days
- Use Different Passwords: Don't reuse passwords from other services
- Log Out on Shared Devices: Always log out when using public computers
- Enable Email Verification: Keep your email address up to date
- You're automatically logged out after 30 days of inactivity
- Active sessions refresh automatically
- You can have multiple active sessions on different devices
- Log out from all devices by changing your password
If you need to temporarily deactivate an account:
For Company Admins:
- Navigate to Settings > Workspace > Users
- Find the user in the list
- Click "Deactivate" or toggle the "Active" status
- Confirm the action
What happens when deactivated:
- User cannot log in
- User's OKRs remain visible
- Historical data is preserved
- User can be reactivated at any time
For self-deactivation: Contact your Company Admin to request account deactivation.
Multi-Tenant AccessIf you belong to multiple organizations:
- Each organization is a separate workspace
- You'll need separate logins for each workspace
- Each workspace has its own URL (based on company slug)
- Your data is isolated between workspaces
Some organizations require email verification:
Verifying Your Email- After registration, check your email
- Click the "Verify Email" link
- Your email will be confirmed
- You can now access all features
If you didn't receive the verification email:
- Log in to your account
- You'll see a banner about email verification
- Click "Resend Verification Email"
- Check your inbox (and spam folder)
Problem: "Invalid email or password" error
Solutions:
- Double-check your email address for typos
- Ensure Caps Lock is off when entering password
- Try the "Forgot Password" flow
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser
- Check if your account has been deactivated
Problem: "Invalid or expired invitation" error
Solutions:
- Check if the link has expired (invitations expire after 7 days)
- Ensure you're clicking the full link (not truncated)
- Try copying and pasting the link directly
- Contact the person who sent the invitation for a new link
- Check if you've already accepted the invitation
Problem: No reset email in inbox
Solutions:
- Check spam/junk folder
- Wait a few minutes (can take up to 10 minutes)
- Verify you entered the correct email address
- Check if your email provider is blocking automated emails
- Try requesting another reset link
- Contact support if issue persists
Problem: Cannot authenticate with Google
Solutions:
- Ensure pop-ups are enabled in your browser
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser
- Check if third-party cookies are enabled
- Ensure you're using a Google Workspace account (if required)
- Contact your admin to verify Google OAuth is configured
After logging in, you can manage your account settings:
Profile InformationUpdate in Settings > Profile:
- Name
- Email address
- Profile picture/avatar
- Timezone preferences
Configure in Settings > Profile > Notifications:
- Email notification frequency
- Types of notifications to receive
- Notification channels
Manage in Settings > Profile:
- Profile visibility
- Activity visibility
- Data export options
