Navigate to Settings from:
- Main navigation menu
- User profile dropdown (top-right)
- Quick access icon
Settings are organized into sections:
- Profile: Personal settings
- Workspace: Company/organization settings (Admin only)
- Billing: Subscription and usage (Admin only)
Personal settings that affect only your account.
Basic InformationAccessing: Settings > Profile
Name- Your display name
- Appears throughout the application
- Visible to all team members
To Update:
- Navigate to Settings > Profile
- Edit "Name" field
- Click "Save"
- Your account email
- Used for login and notifications
- Must be unique
To Update:
- Edit "Email" field
- Verify new email (may require confirmation)
- Save changes
⚠️ Important: Changing email may require you to log in again.
Avatar/Profile Picture- Visual identifier in the application
- Appears in dashboards, reports, and comments
To Update:
- Click on profile picture or "Change Avatar"
- Choose method:
- Upload image (JPG, PNG, max 5MB)
- Use gravatar (if configured)
- Select default avatar
- Crop/resize if needed
- Save
Best Practice: Use a professional photo or clear headshot.
Security SettingsChange PasswordTo Update Password:
- Navigate to Settings > Profile > Security
- Click "Change Password"
- Enter current password
- Enter new password
- Confirm new password
- Click "Update Password"
Password Requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters
- Mix of letters and numbers recommended
- Special characters for extra security
View and manage where you're logged in:
To View:
- Settings > Profile > Security
- See "Active Sessions"
- Device type
- Browser
- Location (approximate)
- Last activity
- IP address
To Revoke:
- Click "Revoke" on any session
- That device will be logged out
- Useful if you lost a device
Control when and how you receive notifications.
Accessing: Settings > Profile > Notifications
Email NotificationsOKR Notifications:
- New objectives assigned to me
- Check-in reminders
- Objectives approaching deadline
- Team member check-ins (if team admin)

- Objective status changes
Activity Notifications:
- Daily digest
- Weekly summary

Administrative:
- Invitation to join teams

Frequency:
- Immediately
- Daily digest (once per day)

Types:

Settings:
- Enable in-app notifications
- Play sound
- Show desktop notifications (requires browser permission)
Customize how you view Leemu OKR.
Time Zone- Set your local time zone
- All times display in this zone
- Affects calendar, deadlines, check-in times
To Update:
- Settings > Profile
- Select time zone from dropdown
- Save
- MM/DD/YYYY (US)
- DD/MM/YYYY (European)
- YYYY-MM-DD (ISO)
- English
- Other languages (if supported)
- Light mode
- Dark mode
- Auto (system preference)
Control data visibility and privacy.
Profile Visibility- Public: Visible to all users in organization
- Team Only: Visible only to team members
- Private: Minimal information shown
Who can see your check-ins and updates:
- Everyone in organization
- Team members only
- Objective stakeholders only
- Private (only you and admins)
Download all your personal data:
- Settings > Profile > Data
- Click "Export My Data"
- Select what to include:
- Objectives
- Key results
- Check-ins
- Comments
- Profile information
- Choose format (JSON, CSV)
- Click "Export"
- Download link sent to email
Use Cases:
- Backup
- External analysis
- Changing companies
- Data portability
⚠️ Warning: This is permanent and cannot be undone.
Process:
- Settings > Profile > Data
- Click "Delete Account"
- Read warnings carefully
- Enter password to confirm
- Confirm deletion
What Gets Deleted:
- Your user account
- Personal OKRs
- Check-ins
- Comments
- Profile data
What Remains:
- Team/company OKRs you contributed to (ownership transferred)
- Anonymous activity data for reporting
Organization-wide settings. Requires Company Admin role.

To Upload:
- Click "Upload Logo"
- Choose image (PNG or SVG recommended, max 2MB)
- Crop/resize if needed
- Save
Recommended: Transparent background, landscape orientation.
Company Slug- Unique identifier
- Part of URL (if using custom domains)
- Cannot be changed after creation (usually)
- Default for organization
- New users inherit this setting
- Can be overridden by individual users
User List Shows:
- Name and email
- Role
- Teams
- Last login
- Active/Inactive status
- Number of objectives
Actions:
- Edit user
- Change role
- Deactivate/reactivate
- Resend invitation
- Remove user
- Settings > Workspace > Users
- Click "Invite User"
- Fill in details:
- Email address
- Name
- Role (Member, Team Admin, Company Admin)
- Team(s) to join
- Add personal message (optional)
- Send invitation

Editing Users- Find user in list
- Click "Edit"
- Modify:
- Name
- Role
- Team memberships
- Active status
- Save changes
Temporarily disable access:
- Find user
- Toggle "Active" status or click "Deactivate"
- Confirm
What Happens:
- User cannot log in
- Data preserved
- Can be reactivated
- License seat freed (depending on plan)
Permanently remove from organization:
- Find user
- Click "Remove" or delete icon
- Confirm removal
What Happens:
- User removed from organization
- Access revoked immediately
- OKRs may be reassigned or orphaned
- Historical data may be anonymized

Upgrading/DowngradingUpgrading Your Plan- Settings > Billing
- Click "Upgrade Plan"
- Select new plan
- Review pricing
- Enter payment details (if not on file)
- Confirm upgrade
What Happens:
- Immediate access to new features
- Prorated billing for current period
- New limits apply immediately
- Settings > Billing
- Click "Change Plan"
- Select lower-tier plan
- Review limitations
- Confirm downgrade
What Happens:
- Change effective at end of current billing period
- May need to reduce usage first
- Features disabled at downgrade date
⚠️ Important: Ensure you're within new limits before downgrading.
Payment MethodsAdding Payment Method- Settings > Billing > Payment Methods
- Click "Add Payment Method"
- Enter details:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- CVC
- Billing address
- Save
Accepted:
- Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex)
- Debit cards
- (Other methods based on payment processor)
- View payment methods
- Click "Edit" on method to update
- Or add new method and set as default
- Save
- Click "Set as Default" on preferred method
- Future charges use this method
View Past Invoices:
- Settings > Billing > Billing History
- See list of invoices:
- Date
- Amount
- Status (Paid, Pending, Failed)
- Invoice number
- Click to view details

Set up alerts when approaching limits:
- Settings > Billing > Alerts
- Configure thresholds:
- User seats at 80%
- Objectives at 90%
- AI tokens at 75%

Billing Owner:
- Person responsible for billing
- Receives invoices
- Can manage payment methods
To Change:
- Settings > Billing
- Edit "Billing Owner"
- Select new user
- Confirm change
To Cancel:
- Settings > Billing
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Select reason (optional feedback)
- Confirm cancellation
What Happens:
- Subscription continues until end of billing period
- No further charges
- Downgraded to FREE plan (if available) or data archived
- Export your data before cancellation
Reactivating:
- Can reactivate before end of period
- Or start new subscription anytime
Not available to regular users. Reserved for platform administrators.
Troubleshooting SettingsCannot Save ChangesSolutions:
- Check all required fields are filled
- Verify you have permissions
- Check for validation errors
- Clear cache and retry
- Try different browser

- Verify billing address
- Try different payment method

- Contact your Company Admin
- Request role change if needed

- Whitelist leemu emails
- Check email provider isn't blocking
