This comprehensive guide covers all settings in Leemu OKR, including profile settings, workspace configuration, and billing management.Accessing Settings

Navigate to Settings from:

  • Main navigation menu
  • User profile dropdown (top-right)
  • Quick access icon

Settings are organized into sections:

  • Profile: Personal settings
  • Workspace: Company/organization settings (Admin only)
  • Billing: Subscription and usage (Admin only)
Profile Settings

Personal settings that affect only your account.

Basic Information

Accessing: Settings > Profile

Name
  • Your display name
  • Appears throughout the application
  • Visible to all team members

To Update:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Profile
  2. Edit "Name" field
  3. Click "Save"
Email Address
  • Your account email
  • Used for login and notifications
  • Must be unique

To Update:

  1. Edit "Email" field
  2. Verify new email (may require confirmation)
  3. Save changes

⚠️ Important: Changing email may require you to log in again.

Avatar/Profile Picture
  • Visual identifier in the application
  • Appears in dashboards, reports, and comments

To Update:

  1. Click on profile picture or "Change Avatar"
  2. Choose method:
    • Upload image (JPG, PNG, max 5MB)
    • Use gravatar (if configured)
    • Select default avatar
  3. Crop/resize if needed
  4. Save

Best Practice: Use a professional photo or clear headshot.

Security SettingsChange Password

To Update Password:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Profile > Security
  2. Click "Change Password"
  3. Enter current password
  4. Enter new password
  5. Confirm new password
  6. Click "Update Password"

Password Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • Mix of letters and numbers recommended
  • Special characters for extra security
Active Sessions

View and manage where you're logged in:

To View:

  1. Settings > Profile > Security
  2. See "Active Sessions"
    • Device type
    • Browser
    • Location (approximate)
    • Last activity
    • IP address

To Revoke:

  • Click "Revoke" on any session
  • That device will be logged out
  • Useful if you lost a device
Notification Preferences

Control when and how you receive notifications.

Accessing: Settings > Profile > Notifications

Email Notifications

OKR Notifications:

  • New objectives assigned to me
  • Check-in reminders
  • Objectives approaching deadline
  • Team member check-ins (if team admin)
  • Comment mentions
  • Objective status changes

Activity Notifications:

  • Daily digest
  • Weekly summary
  • Monthly report

Administrative:

  • Invitation to join teams
  • Role changes
  • Workspace updates

Frequency:

  • Immediately
  • Daily digest (once per day)
  • Weekly digest
  • Never
In-App Notifications

Types:

  • Check-in reminders
  • @mentions
  • Status changes
  • Comments
  • Achievements

Settings:

  • Enable in-app notifications
  • Play sound
  • Show desktop notifications (requires browser permission)
Display Preferences

Customize how you view Leemu OKR.

Time Zone
  • Set your local time zone
  • All times display in this zone
  • Affects calendar, deadlines, check-in times

To Update:

  1. Settings > Profile
  2. Select time zone from dropdown
  3. Save
Date Format
  • MM/DD/YYYY (US)
  • DD/MM/YYYY (European)
  • YYYY-MM-DD (ISO)
Language (if available)
  • English
  • Other languages (if supported)
Theme (if available)
  • Light mode
  • Dark mode
  • Auto (system preference)
Privacy Settings

Control data visibility and privacy.

Profile Visibility
  • Public: Visible to all users in organization
  • Team Only: Visible only to team members
  • Private: Minimal information shown
Activity Visibility

Who can see your check-ins and updates:

  • Everyone in organization
  • Team members only
  • Objective stakeholders only
  • Private (only you and admins)
Data ManagementExport Your Data

Download all your personal data:

  1. Settings > Profile > Data
  2. Click "Export My Data"
  3. Select what to include:
    • Objectives
    • Key results
    • Check-ins
    • Comments
    • Profile information
  4. Choose format (JSON, CSV)
  5. Click "Export"
  6. Download link sent to email

Use Cases:

  • Backup
  • External analysis
  • Changing companies
  • Data portability
Delete Account

⚠️ Warning: This is permanent and cannot be undone.

Process:

  1. Settings > Profile > Data
  2. Click "Delete Account"
  3. Read warnings carefully
  4. Enter password to confirm
  5. Confirm deletion

What Gets Deleted:

  • Your user account
  • Personal OKRs
  • Check-ins
  • Comments
  • Profile data

What Remains:

  • Team/company OKRs you contributed to (ownership transferred)
  • Anonymous activity data for reporting
Workspace Settings

Organization-wide settings. Requires Company Admin role.

Accessing

Settings > Workspace

Company InformationCompany Name
  • Organization's name
  • Appears throughout the application
  • Shown on reports and exports

To Update:

  1. Settings > Workspace
  2. Edit "Company Name"
  3. Save
Company Logo
  • Appears in header
  • Used in reports and exports
  • Professional branding

To Upload:

  1. Click "Upload Logo"
  2. Choose image (PNG or SVG recommended, max 2MB)
  3. Crop/resize if needed
  4. Save

Recommended: Transparent background, landscape orientation.

Company Slug
  • Unique identifier
  • Part of URL (if using custom domains)
  • Cannot be changed after creation (usually)
Time Zone
  • Default for organization
  • New users inherit this setting
  • Can be overridden by individual users
User ManagementViewing Users

User List Shows:

  • Name and email
  • Role
  • Teams
  • Last login
  • Active/Inactive status
  • Number of objectives

Actions:

  • Edit user
  • Change role
  • Deactivate/reactivate
  • Resend invitation
  • Remove user
Inviting Users
  1. Settings > Workspace > Users
  2. Click "Invite User"
  3. Fill in details:
    • Email address
    • Name
    • Role (Member, Team Admin, Company Admin)
    • Team(s) to join
  4. Add personal message (optional)
  5. Send invitation

Editing Users
  1. Find user in list
  2. Click "Edit"
  3. Modify:
    • Name
    • Email
    • Role
    • Team memberships
    • Active status
  4. Save changes
Deactivating Users

Temporarily disable access:

  1. Find user
  2. Toggle "Active" status or click "Deactivate"
  3. Confirm

What Happens:

  • User cannot log in
  • Data preserved
  • Can be reactivated
  • License seat freed (depending on plan)
Removing Users

Permanently remove from organization:

  1. Find user
  2. Click "Remove" or delete icon
  3. Confirm removal

What Happens:

  • User removed from organization
  • Access revoked immediately
  • OKRs may be reassigned or orphaned
  • Historical data may be anonymized
Team Management

  3. Create, edit, or delete teams

Workspace PreferencesDefault Check-in Interval
  • Default for new objectives
  • Users can override per objective
  • Recommended: 7 days (weekly)
OKR Visibility
  • Open: Everyone can see all OKRs
  • Team-based: Users see only their team's OKRs
  • Role-based: Visibility based on role

  1. Settings > Workspace > API
  2. Click "Generate API Key"
  3. Name the key
  4. Set permissions
  5. Copy key (shown only once)

Billing Settings

Manage subscription, usage, and payments. Requires Company Admin role.

Subscription Overview

Current Plan:

  • Plan name (FREE, STANDARD, PREMIUM)
  • Plan features
  • Pricing
  • Billing cycle (monthly/annual)
  • Next renewal date

Usage:

  • Active users / User limit
  • Objectives created / Objective limit
  • AI tokens used / Token limit
  • Storage used / Storage limit

  • Limited users (e.g., up to 5)
  • Limited objectives (e.g., up to 50)
  • Basic reporting

STANDARD Plan

Upgrading/DowngradingUpgrading Your Plan
  1. Settings > Billing
  2. Click "Upgrade Plan"
  3. Select new plan
  4. Review pricing
  5. Enter payment details (if not on file)
  6. Confirm upgrade

What Happens:

  • Immediate access to new features
  • Prorated billing for current period
  • New limits apply immediately
Downgrading Your Plan
  1. Settings > Billing
  2. Click "Change Plan"
  3. Select lower-tier plan
  4. Review limitations
  5. Confirm downgrade

What Happens:

  • Change effective at end of current billing period
  • May need to reduce usage first
  • Features disabled at downgrade date

⚠️ Important: Ensure you're within new limits before downgrading.

Payment MethodsAdding Payment Method
  1. Settings > Billing > Payment Methods
  2. Click "Add Payment Method"
  3. Enter details:
    • Card number
    • Expiration date
    • CVC
    • Billing address
  4. Save

Accepted:

  • Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex)
  • Debit cards
  • (Other methods based on payment processor)
Updating Payment Method
  1. View payment methods
  2. Click "Edit" on method to update
  3. Or add new method and set as default
  4. Save
Setting Default Payment Method
  • Click "Set as Default" on preferred method
  • Future charges use this method
Billing History

View Past Invoices:

  1. Settings > Billing > Billing History
  2. See list of invoices:
    • Date
    • Amount
    • Status (Paid, Pending, Failed)
    • Invoice number
  3. Click to view details
  4. Download PDF

Invoice Details:

  • Itemized charges
  • Payment method used
  • Billing address
  • VAT/Tax (if applicable)
Usage MonitoringUser Seats

Current Usage:

  • X users active / Y seats available

Actions:

  • Deactivate unused accounts
  • Upgrade for more seats
  • View usage history
Objective Limits

Current Usage:

  • X objectives / Y limit

Actions:

  • Archive old objectives
  • Upgrade plan for more capacity
  • Delete test/duplicate objectives
AI Token Usage

Current Usage:

  • X tokens used / Y monthly allowance
  • Resets on: [date]
  • Days until reset: Z

Actions:

  • Conserve tokens
  • Upgrade for more tokens
  • View detailed token usage log
Usage Alerts

Set up alerts when approaching limits:

  1. Settings > Billing > Alerts
  2. Configure thresholds:
    • User seats at 80%
    • Objectives at 90%
    • AI tokens at 75%
  3. Notification method:
    • Email to admins
    • In-app notification
    • Both
  4. Save
Billing Contact

Billing Owner:

  • Person responsible for billing
  • Receives invoices
  • Can manage payment methods

To Change:

  1. Settings > Billing
  2. Edit "Billing Owner"
  3. Select new user
  4. Confirm change
Canceling Subscription

To Cancel:

  1. Settings > Billing
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Select reason (optional feedback)
  4. Confirm cancellation

What Happens:

  • Subscription continues until end of billing period
  • No further charges
  • Downgraded to FREE plan (if available) or data archived
  • Export your data before cancellation

Reactivating:

  • Can reactivate before end of period
  • Or start new subscription anytime
Organization Settings (Super Admin)

Not available to regular users. Reserved for platform administrators.

Troubleshooting SettingsCannot Save Changes

Solutions:

  1. Check all required fields are filled
  2. Verify you have permissions
  3. Check for validation errors
  4. Clear cache and retry
  5. Try different browser
Payment Failed

Solutions:

  1. Check card details are correct
  2. Ensure sufficient funds
  3. Verify billing address
  4. Try different payment method
  5. Contact your bank
  6. Contact support
Cannot Access Workspace Settings

Cause: Not a Company Admin

Solution:

  • Contact your Company Admin
  • Request role change if needed
Email Notifications Not Received

Solutions:

  1. Check notification preferences are enabled
  2. Check spam/junk folder
  3. Verify email address is correct
  4. Whitelist leemu emails
  5. Check email provider isn't blocking
